Those results missed analysts’ expectations of $9.97 in earnings per share on revenue of $1.3 billion, according to LSEG. DocuSign — The electronic signature company lost 4%. DocuSign reported first-quarter adjusted earnings of 82 cents per share on revenue of $710 million. Analysts called for 79 cents a share in earnings and revenue of $707 million, per LSEG. DocuSign also authorized a $1 billion share repurchase increase. Samsara — Shares of the software provider dropped nearly 7%, even as Samsara reported top- and bottom-line beats in the first quarter. The company posted adjusted earnings of 3 cents per share and revenue of $281 million, surpassing analysts’ expectations for earnings of 1 cent per share and $272 million in revenue, according to LSEG. Estimates for the current quarter and full year were above expectations as well. Braze — The customer engagement platform provider surged about 15% on better-than-expected results for the first quarter. Braze reported an adjusted loss of 5 cents per share, while analysts expected a loss of 10 cents per share, according to LSEG. Revenue came in at $135 million, slightly topping expectations of $132 million. Planet Labs — Shares rose 3.8%. The provider of satellite imagery and geospatial solutions posted a narrower-than-expected adjusted loss of 5 cents per share for the first quarter and $60.4 million in revenue. Analysts were anticipating a loss of 7 cents per share and revenue of $60 million, per LSEG.
